A product of four elements
Ceramic tiles are made from the combination of the four elements: earth, water, fire and air. They owe their high quality primarily to pure, natural clay. Using water, it is molded, fired in fire and dried. No lime, cement or artificial additives are added in the production process, making the product completely eco-friendly.

The fact that the tiles are fired at a very high temperature makes them extremely resistant to external factors. In order to further protect their surface, they undergo an engobe or glazing process. Appropriate minerals, metal oxides or glaze particles are then added to the clay.
Engobed products are very durable and at the same time vapor-permeable, while glazed products - with a glossy layer of glaze on the surface - gain a resistant, tight, uniform and pore-closing layer of ceramics.
Tile production at Röben plants is computer-controlled.
Together with electronic quality control and laser scanning of each tile,
guarantees ceramics of the highest standards.
Factories operating in this way are oriented toward ecological production, in the spirit of "zero waste" - roofing materials are made only from natural raw materials, and products that do not meet standards are recycled.
