Conditions of sale

The following terms and conditions constitute the terms and conditions of the A&B portal store, which the Customer/User of the A&B portal accepts when placing an order.
NOTE: Access to the file repository and User account is not part of the purchase agreement for any of the products in the A&B portal store and is an added value.

Prices

All prices are in Polish zloty and include VAT. The price quoted with each order is binding at the time the customer places the order.

ShIPPING COST

Shipping costs for tangible products are flat rate, defined for portions of every three [3] consecutive pieces of the ordered goods and added/billed automatically when you select the payment method and number of pieces in the shopping cart.
In case of ordering only publications in electronic form, the shipping cost is 0 PLN.

NOTE: Subscription prices already include in their prices the cost of cyclical shipping to the customer of the store/user of the portal A&B.
The shipping cost for subscriptions is 0 PLN.

Payment methods

Customer of A&B store/portal user can choose one of the convenient payment methods of manual transfer or modern, fast and secure online transaction.

1. payment by bank transfer - [implies selecting when ordering the option "Courier/Post - payment: Transfer"]
  After placing an order, the customer of the A&B portal store will receive by email a confirmation of the order with a link to the order page in his/her User panel, which contains all the necessary information to make a transfer. In the title of a transfer made manually, you must provide the order number given in the order summary visible in the received email and/or your User panel in the "Orders" section. It is imperative that the title of the transfer contain at least this information ("Order number ###", where your order number should be inserted in place of ###) in order for your payment to be verified by the banking system and the Distribution Department of AiB Publishing House. Once your payment has been credited by the bank, the A&B Distribution department will change the status of your order to "Paid". This will be confirmed by an additional email sent to your inbox.
  
  After this operation, any purchased A&B electronic publications will be immediately linked to your account and are visible in the "Magazines" tab of your account on the A&B portal in the form of a color cover. Magazines can be downloaded to your storage devices or viewed online from this section of the User panel, or on the product page of the A&B portal store [see section "Digital Versions - Security and Restrictions"]. Printed versions and other tangible products will be shipped by the Shipping Department as soon as possible, in the fastest way and by secure parcel to the address indicated by the User in the order.
2. online payment - [implies selecting "Courier/Post - Payment: Online" when ordering]
  The portal has been integrated with online payment service made via First Data Polcard. After selecting this payment method, the user has the opportunity to pay conveniently and securely for his/her order placed on the A&B portal using one of dozens of banks, Blik payments or credit card. Clicking on the "I buy and pay" button in the third section of the shopping cart of the A&B portal titled "Placing an order", registers the order in the A&B portal system, sending the appropriate message to the user. Then the next step "Payment" is redirected to the site operated by First Data Polcard. All operations are performed using a secure, encrypted connection to the site https://vpos.polcard.com.pl. The credibility of the site is confirmed by a valid certificate and graphically - a green padlock, for example, next to the URL in the browser address bar (depending on the browser). After correct verification of your payment authorization, you will be redirected back to the A&B portal page with the message "Payment was successful. Within a few minutes the changes will be visible in your account". Once your payment has been credited by the bank (which takes from a few seconds to several minutes), the A&B portal system will automatically confirm the status of your order as "Paid". This will also be confirmed by an additional e-mail message sent to your inbox from the First Data Polcard payment system. In this message you can check the correctness of the operation and its status.
  
  After this operation, any purchased A&B electronic publications are immediately linked to your account and are visible in the "Magazines" tab of your account on the A&B portal in the form of a color cover. Magazines can be downloaded to your storage devices or viewed online from this section of the User panel, or on the product page of the A&B portal store [see section "Digital versions - security and restrictions"]. Printed versions and other tangible products will be shipped by the Shipping Department as soon as possible, in the fastest way and by secure parcel to the address indicated by the User in the order.
  
  Note 1: Receipt of an email informing you that "Order number ### has been registered in the system" is not synonymous with the successful completion of the transaction and has only the purpose of information and reservation for you of the required number of magazines. In case of failure of the online payment operation or cancellation of the order at this stage of payment, the First Data Polcard website will redirect you back to the A&B portal page, which will generate the message "Payment error. Try again later." Due to the encrypted method of data transmission at the stage of online payment and security against unauthorized access to your data, it is not possible to complete such a transaction automatically at another time. It is necessary to make a new order, which will receive a new transaction number.
  
  NOTE 2: Ordering products in the store of the portal A&B, the billing period of which exceeds the cycle of one year (e.g., a two-year subscription in any of the sub-options) is possible only through payment by bank transfer (manual transfer). Online payments made by First Data Polcard include all products that can be credited for a specific calendar year. This restriction is due to the internal regulations and rules of First Data Polcard and is independent of the model of implementation of the functionality by the administrator of the A&B portal.

COMMENDATION AND REPLACEMENT DATA

Delivery address:
In an order placed or completed in Polish, the payer's address must be provided. The recipient's address should also be filled in if the subscription is to be a gift to another person or if the delivery address is different from the payer's address.
Realization of the order:
The customer will receive the order within a maximum of 14 working days from the date of order. In special cases: strikes, calamities, acts of God or other causes not on the Publisher's side, the shipment will be carried out as soon as possible.
Confirmation of order:
The fact that the customer has placed an order will be automatically confirmed by the system via e-mail.

CLAIMS AND INFORMATION

Claims:

An order may be canceled at the customer's request if a statement to that effect is received by the publisher before the order is processed.
Student orders
Student orders are processed after correct verification of the student account in the A&B portal system. If there are problems with providing a scan or photo of your student ID card for review or if it is outdated, A&B's Distribution Department may refuse to process your order at a reduced amount until you provide the above document. People eligible for discounted student subscriptions are students/students of faculties of architecture, landscape architecture, civil engineering, academies of fine arts and others related to construction.

DIGITAL VERSIONS - SECURITY AND DEVELOPMENT

Purchasing digital versions on the A&B portal assigns these items to your A&B portal customer/user account. For this reason, registration is required at the time of ordering. Digital versions of magazines assigned in this way go to the personal repository of A&B publications available in the "Magazines" section of the User's account. Purchased items are graphically highlighted in color. Monochrome versions are publications to which the User has not yet acquired access rights.

Digital magazines are automatically watermarked during download with a non-intrusive watermark with the owner's name and email address as legal proof of a non-exclusive, per-unit license to use a particular A&B digital magazine. Files are secured by the User's personal password known only to him and provided at the stage of downloading and encoding the publication.

NOTE 2: The Publisher does not directly store Users' passwords for the digital numbers licensed in a way that makes them readable. If you lose or forget your password, you must download the publication file again by defining a new password and confirming it in the file download window. The new password will be encrypted and assigned to the User's account, being the default password for subsequent downloads of digital publications.

The User has the right to download or browse online a digital publication from A&B servers up to five [5] times per month. The pool is renewed periodically every month.

NOTE 3: In random cases or failure of the User's hardware and/or software, it is possible to increase the download limit of a given number once.

The user has the right to save a given copy of the digital publication on his/her storage media or terminal devices and dispose of it under applicable copyright law.

Sharing electronic publications with third parties is prohibited under penalty of civil liability.

When it is proven that a digital publication is intentionally made available and distributed (based on the User's watermark), legal steps may be taken to protect the copyright of the Publisher and third parties, including authors: texts, photos, statements or images.

Failure to comply with the above regulations may result in temporary suspension of access to the account on which the file repository is made available to the User, or its complete removal.

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

By placing an order, the Customer of the store/user of the A&B portal agrees to the processing of his/her personal data by AiB sp. z o.o. with its registered seat in Krakow, ul. Kielecka 2/55A, 31-526 Kraków in accordance with Privacy Policy of A&B portal. Personal information is collected solely for the purposes of AiB sp. z o.o. in order to fulfill your order.
