Energy-efficient and durable roof - Dörken Delta membranes

The roof is one of the most important elements in the construction of a house. It is the one that has the greatest impact on the energy efficiency of the building. In the summer it protects from the sun, and on cold days it stops heat escaping upwards. As a result, up to 20 to 40 percent of air can escape through an uninsulated or poorly made one. In contrast, a proper membrane reduces its exchange by as much as 30 percent, which significantly reduces the amount of energy needed to maintain the right temperature in the house.

When choosing a material, it's worth betting on good quality, because the right membranes can also significantly increase the life of a roof, protecting it from the outflow of sun, wind or moisture. The latest generation of Dorken products has the longest functional warranty on the market, 30 years, and also protects the building from the newly discovered factor affecting material aging- air movement under the roofing. As a result, the products are more resistant than standard membranes. Their quality is confirmed by an ETA certificate, which attests to the innovative material's compliance with EU standards.

Additional savings are afforded by, among other things, the Delta Maxx Plus membrane, equipped with double adhesive strips. These make the material easier to install, reducing labor time and waste during construction. It also makes the product more environmentally friendly. In addition, the use of adhesive strips saves more than 20 percent of energy compared to open, unglued laps of the membrane.

The roof's resilience to the elements, is also significantly enhanced by Delta Therm Plus, an unbonded membrane, particularly resistant to high temperatures, which can be used in extreme conditions under metal roofing and used as a protective layer under photovoltaic panels. Tests show that the product can function properly at temperatures up to 150 degrees Celsius. This makes it safe to use even during unplanned long construction delays.
