Here's the attic. The attic is not just any attic, as it has been turned into a bright, cozy and comfortable apartment. Softly wrapping the interior, it is associated with summer joy and a warm winter retreat.
Pracownia Smolik i Wiatrowska is a female duo, creating projects that perfectly use the potential of the place and refer to the latest, most current interior trends.
In the arrangement of "Poddasz w sty boho", the originally open space was divided by the designers into a living area, with a kitchen, living room, dining room and bathroom, and a private area, which consists of a bedroom with a dressing room.

Living area
The living zone seems to be the most interesting. This is where the large, functionally solved kitchen is located. It becomes the heart of the house, is the space for frequent meetings and joint culinary activities of the household members. The kitchen is kept in light tones, but has a dominant accent, in the form of a graphite cylindrical hood. It is aesthetically pleasing and at the same time extremely modern. White, prevalent here, is timeless and it also makes the interior feel more spacious.
A visually warming element also appears, in the form of a wooden countertop, in a light shade. It corresponds with the visible mayflies, preserved in their natural color. Atmospheric and functional at the same time is also the kitchen lighting. These are lamps arranged on rails, which give the possibility to control them freely.

The pantry - a very important part of the project
In the high built-in cabinets there is a hidden door, leading to the pantry, which is a dream come true for the Investor. It is thanks to this room that she can even more fully develop her culinary passions. There are shelves, baskets and boxes for storing food supplies, but the wall also has room for basic cleaning items.

Brick accent
The investors value time spent with family and friends, so the living area is entirely open. The only element demarcating the kitchen and living room is a wall of gently whitened brick, subtly emphasizing the character of the interior. At the same time, it serves a supporting function for the TV set.
We also have the brick plane exposed in part of the gable wall, which acts as a sort of closure of the space and provides an interesting rustic backdrop for the hemispherical, openwork armchair suspended nearby.

Boho style aesthetics
The sofa and chairs have wooden bases and are upholstered in a light gray fabric, which harmonizes with the whole setting. Boho and rustic style elements also appear, such as a rattan lamp shade, window blinds made of natural fabric, a macramé hanging on the wall and baskets woven from seagrass.

Looking into the private part
Facing the kitchen is a staircase to the mezzanine, bounded by a classic white railing with a wooden handrail. On the wall along them, the designers proposed to create a gallery of family photos, which accentuates and marks here the transition to an already completely private zone - a bedroom with a dressing room and an office corner.
The overall aesthetic is light, though well-placed, and features a remarkably fresh arrangement. The interior is reminiscent of cleanliness, serenity and positive moments.
