A deep, warm brown with distinct notes of beige and milky coffee. This is the color of the year 2025, or Mocha Mousse. Marta Iglewska and Radek Wójcik, architects from Interiorsy studio, advise how to introduce this intriguing shade into the interior.

An oasis of harmony and tranquility
Beige is a color that brings warmth, peace and harmony to an interior. It optically enlarges the space, while making it cozy. This color works well both on large surfaces, such as walls or furniture, and in the form of accents, such as pillows, curtains or decorations. Its neutral character makes it a perfect base for a variety of styles - from classic, to Scandinavian, to modern minimalism.
- Beige and Mocha Mousse are colors that perfectly fit in with trends that focus on naturalness, tranquility and timeless aesthetics. They create interiors full of harmony, and at the same time give great freedom in personalizing them," explains Marta Iglewska.

Many shades of beige
What shade of beige to choose? Light, sandy beiges are great for smaller rooms, brightening up the space and giving it a fresh feel. Warm shades with a hint of yellow or peach introduce coziness and a homey atmosphere, which would work well in a living room or bedroom. On the other hand, cooler gray-beige tones will be an excellent choice for spaces such as a study or bathroom. If you want to use different shades of beige in the same room, stick to one selected range - warm or cool. This will guarantee the consistency of the arrangement.
- Beige shades will allow you to create both a cozy living room and a romantic boho-stylebedroom, where beige fabrics and wicker accessories are combined with warm tones of Mocha Mousse. Equally popular will be bright bathrooms, where beige can be beautifully combined with warm tones of stone or wood, says the architect from Interiorsy studio.

What to combine Mocha Mousse with?
Beige is a versatile color that can be combined with many shades, depending on the effect you want to achieve. With white and grays it creates calm, elegant interiors, ideal for minimalist or Scandinavian style. Juxtaposed with warm colors, such as caramel, brown or gold, it emphasizes coziness and gives the space elegance.
- In modern arrangements, beige often plays the role of a neutral background, which allows to expose other elements of the decor. Juxtaposed with accessories in stronger colors, such as bottle green or navy blue, it gains depth, but it looks equally good in monochromatic arrangements based on different shades of earth," says Marta Iglewska.

Intense colors, on the other hand, will add expressiveness, perfectly matching, for example, the glamour style. Pastel accents, such as powder pink or mint, on the other hand, will give lightness and romantic character. Beige is also a great background for natural materials, such as wood or rattan.
- Mocha Mousse is a color that can be perfectly combined with other neutral tones, such as classic beige, but also with natural materials - wood, linen, wool or leather. It introduces a bit of depth into the space and gives it a sophisticated character," adds Radek Wojcik.
