How to arrange an interior in the Chalet style? What exactly is this style? We present 5 things that are necessary when creating such an interior.
Chalet is a style referring to alpine cottages. It draws inspiration from both traditional mountain chalets and popular tourist resorts. Its basis is to create an ideal refuge from everyday life. With a chalet style arrangement, you don't have to live in the mountains at all to feel the cozy atmosphere of a mountain hut in your apartment and feel like a winter getaway.

1 Precious wood
The chalet style interior is strongly inspired by nature. Indoors must be, feel the forest atmosphere. Enter a lot of wooden elements, preferably made of completely natural material with visible grains. Wood can be literally everywhere: on the walls ceiling or in the form of a wooden ceiling. Especially the one in a warm shade will work great. You will also get an interesting effect by mixing natural wood with classic decorated furniture made of darker wood.

2 Mountain motifs
If you are arranging analpine-style house, it can not lack mountain motifs. These can be paintings with snowy landscapes or interesting graphics. Enter also animal motifs. They bring the wildness of mountain nature into the interior. A beautiful photograph of a herd of wild animals in a snowy clearing, a pillow or mug with a deer motif or sheepskin on the floor will create a mountain atmosphere. Plant motifs such as tree branches or stump tables will also be ideal.

3. first of all, cozy
A chalet-style interior is distinguished above all by its coziness. So stock up on thick woolen plaids, ornate pillows and checkered flannel bedding. Fluffy highland leather will be ideal. All these materials will warm up the arrangement and add a chic touch to the interior.

4 - An evening by the fireplace
What do we associate holidays spent in the mountains with? First of all, with evenings by the fireplace . If you want to create a real alpine atmosphere in your interior, there must be a fireplace in your living room. Preferably the classic one , with real wood. However, if you can't afford one, check out alternatives such as a bio-fireplace or a dummy one.

5 - Warm light
Nothing creates a cozy atmosphere like light. Opt for lighting in warm colors. Several sources of soft, slightly smoky light will work best. Don't forget about aromatic candles, too.
