JAGA STRADA HYBRID MM - heating and cooling with central connection

23 of September '24

from the series "Air conditioning, ventilation, heating - technologies, trends 2024"

STRADA HYBRID MM is a Jaga hybrid radiator with central connection (MM). This universal connection type makes the installation of the radiator even simpler and the radiator even more efficient.

There are three lines of radiators in the STRADA collection, with each successive line having increased functionality over the previous one. The basic radiator in the collection is the classic wall-mounted STRADA model. The efficient, dynamic radiator operating with Low-H2O technology is the first choice for economical heating. Low-H2O technology with superconducting and ultra-fast heat exchanger, guarantees low energy consumption and maximum heat emission. Twin Power heat exchanger provides better cooling compensation for large glazing.

Another model in the line is the STRADA HYBRID. The term "hybrid" indicates that this is a unit that allows cooling in addition to efficient heating. In this case, passive cooling - economical, gentle cooling (by about 4 degrees), without condensation.

The cooling function is enabled by the Dynamic Boost Hybrid (DBH) system. DBH system units are composed of quiet and durable fans with EC motors and equipped with precise room and supply temperature sensors. The sensors measure the temperature of the medium and the room and, depending on the result, modulate the speed of the fans. The radiator is also equipped with the Jaga DPC controller, which allows intelligent control and automatic switching between heating and cooling modes.

The third model in the collection - and the newest one at that - is the STRADA HYBRID MM.

The term HYBRID, indicates that it is a radiator with a cooling function, while the abbreviation MM means that it is a radiator with a central (center) connection. The MM connection block, with a spacing of 5 cm, allows for a central connection to the wall or floor and a supply approach from the left or right side. (In the case of hybrid radiators, it is necessary to install an electrical outlet nearby, which the DBH system requires.)

The benefits of installing the Strada radiator with MM connection include:

  • simpler installation (built-in actuator, installation under the template); the radiator is pre-assembled, its installation can be easily handled by one person,
  • the radiator has a higher capacity (it does not need space for valves),
  • when replacing it with a larger radiator, the proportions and aesthetics of the device are preserved; thanks to the central connection, the radiator will remain symmetrically mounted and will have the same distance from the wall. The distance of the connectors from the wall will also remain unchanged.

Strada Hybrid radiators provide efficient and trouble-free heating even at the lowest flow temperatures. It's also energy-efficient passive cooling in combination with any heat pump that can supply refrigerant. Finally - it's the compact size of the radiators in a low-temperature system. The DBH system provides enough additional power, so you can move to low supply temperatures without having to increase the size of the equipment.
