How to turn your bathroom into a home spa
Who doesn't want a bathroom that feels more like a personal spa? Imagine: soft bathrobes, heated floors, deep bathtubs. Soothing, rejuvenating relaxation in your own home is a luxury many of us dream of. But if a complete bathroom overhaul is out of our budget, we can make some smaller but still significant changes. One idea is to install rain showers in the shower. How not to love such a solution, which stimulates the feeling of a strong tropical rain? It sounds relaxing and extravagant.

Different shapes and colors
Rainshowers can come in different sizes and shapes. They can also come in matte black or chrome. We want the rainshower to harmonize with the existing shapes in the bathroom, so if we have an angular fixture installed there, we will choose a square or rectangular rainshower, and vice versa if we have round shapes.

The right amount of space
First of all, compared to a standard shower handset, a rainshower has a much larger diameter. It is also designed to fully cover the body with a stream of water that appears to be rain. If you are not making any changes to your existing shower or bathtub, make sure that the new, wider shower head will not splash on the floor every time it is activated.
Traditionally, rainfall showerheads are mounted on the ceiling to allow the effect of rain to be felt. Rearranging the pipes to allow this configuration is a complex undertaking, but even if it's not a problem, make sure the ceiling in the shower stall is high enough. The tallest person using the shower should have at least 30 centimeters of clearance (taking into account the shower arm and a few centimeters of head, so that the "rain" has some distance to actually fall on us).
In addition to the rainshower itself, it is also a good idea to install a shower handset

Let's remember about the pressure
Rain showers will not provide as good water pressure as showerheads. The fact is that rain showers (because of the surface from which the water pours) provide a great deal of comfort. However, you need better pressure for that. You also have to reckon with the fact that water will often wear off faster during such a bath.
