Agata Mika of the Decoroom studio designed the interiors of a house located in Warsaw's Wawer district. The building, equipped with, among other things, a heat pump and ventilation with recuperation, is in line with the idea of premium ecological construction.

With respect for nature
The house has an area of 175 sqm. The building is part of an intimate estate of single-family houses, which are surrounded by greenery. High-quality materials were used to build the houses, with an emphasis on energy efficiency. In order to make the houses environmentally friendly, comfortable and energy-efficient, they were equipped with heat pumps, ventilation with recuperation and solar roofs. After verification by architects, urban planning consultants, energy modeling specialists, biodiversity experts, green architects, ecologists and an auditor, the building received pre-certification.

In the spirit of slow
The green surroundings were also the starting point for the interior design. The architect opted for a modern organic style - based on natural materials, calm color rhythm and noble, simple forms.
- When designing the interiors of the show house, I wanted it to be a place that establishes a dialogue with the surrounding nature, without excess decoration, but with noble materials and good design. It's a place full of warmth and tranquility. Every detail here is thought out so that it is not only beautiful, but also functional - the house invites you to live in the rhythm of nature, but without giving up the comfort that modern solutions guarantee," explains Agata Mika of the Decoroom studio.
The color scheme is based on neutral shades of white, beige and gray. The soothing atmosphere is enhanced by the use of natural wood. The whole is complemented by carefully selected decorative details, such as lamps with conical shades, elegant wall lamps and soft fabrics.

Minimalist living area
The heart of the house is a spacious living area consisting of a living room with a kitchenette. The open kitchen has been equipped with modern custom cabinetry, made by Decoroom carpentry shop. The furniture is minimalist, devoid of unnecessary ornaments. The decorative element of the built-in are fronts in different colors. The upper cabinets have a dark wood color, while the lower cabinets were finished in a shade of elegant gray. There is also an island and comfortable hockers. The central point of the living room is a bright, comfortable sofa. It is complemented by a coffee table and a hanging RTV cabinet with a simple form.

Relaxing private zone
The bedroom arrangement, on the other hand, is inspired by Japanese aesthetics. The dominant colors here are white and earth tones. A subtle secret door fits perfectly into this neutral arrangement. An arrangement flavor is the interesting light fixtures with designer cone-shaped shades. One of the most interesting solutions is the secret passage from the dressing room to the bath salon. The bathrooms are a harmonious continuation of the design of the entire house. Warm beiges and high-quality furnishings create a space that will serve the residents for many years.

A space full of art
The neutral character of the interior has become an ideal base for presenting a collection of artworks. There are paintings with motifs of space, landscapes and flowers. The space is also decorated with bas-reliefs and ceramic objects with obtuse, morphic shapes. The abstract works add variety to the space and give the whole a unique character.
