Krystyna and Ida Mikolajska designed the interiors of an apartment located on the southern outskirts of Krakow. The architects from MIKOLAJSKAstudio created a masculine arrangement for an established lawyer.
Interior in a modern style
The arrangement is based on a subtle balance between cool and warm colors. Shades of gray and beige were complemented by a wooden floor laid in a French herringbone pattern. In addition, you will also find white and black accents. The color palette selected by the architects gives the interior a strong, even somewhat austere character. Thus, coziness is brought by elements of nature - wood, leather and furry textiles.

The power of contrasts
The bedroom decor is an example of a harmonious combination of elegance, coziness and modern minimalism. The design is based on contrasts - a light, structured wall with a concrete effect was juxtaposed with a dark, anthracite part. For balance, the lighter part is "topped off" by a lamp on a black cord. Its dark counterpart hung on the other side, is almost invisible until it is turned on. This interior is a perfect example of how raw elegance can be combined with homely warmth, creating a space that is conducive to tranquility and relaxation.

Cozy details
The main role here is played by a large upholstered bed, covered with a soft fur bedspread in shades of gray and beige. Attention is also drawn to a detail in the form of a night table with a marble top in warm, earthy tones, which adds a luxurious touch to the interior. The whole is complemented by natural decorations - dry branches and organic shapes - emphasizing the arrangement's connection with the surrounding greenery.

Rhythm and depth
Another important element is the fluted panel on the wall. It was made of stained raw MDF. A layer of veneer was glued onto the MDF panel, and then vertical grooves were milled through both materials, which gave an interesting effect of wooden fins on a dark background.
