The apartment has an area of 120 sqm. The MAKA STUDIO studio, which has worked with the investors before, is responsible for its design.

Cooperation again
Architects Aleksandra and Wiktor Kurc had already worked with investors on medical facility projects. The excellent agreement made the investors return, entrusting the architects to create a concept for their own apartment. The interior design of the Gdańsk apartment included reconstruction of the interior walls, separating additional space for a dressing room, pantry and master bedroom complex. The whole is maintained in a modern atmosphere, finished with natural materials and filled with Polish design. The entrance hall leads through the kitchen to the living room, which is bordered by a glazed study. Deep in the living area is a passageway to the bedroom. A side corridor leads to a smaller bathroom, a children's room and a bedroom with a bath room and dressing room. It was jointly decided that the implementation would focus on quality Polish furniture and native design.
- A big plus of working with Polish brands was the possibility of customization. We often changed the upholstery material so that the same fabric would appear in different furniture - the architects say about the completed project.

Unusual living room
The living room has a rather unusual shape. The main wall is located at a considerable slant, so the challenge was to find the right furniture and to arrange the space functionally. The key element of the interior is a huge, almost 2.5-meter-long aged round mirror. Exposed against a background of structural marble clay, it attracts attention and provides a fantastic background for the sofa. An interesting solution is the bio-fireplace on the wall separating the living room from the glazed study. Very discreet, noticeable only after firing, it fits beautifully into the development. In the interior of the living room appears natural wood, micro-cement and the aforementioned marbled flour. Its original texture creates a beautiful chiaroscuro, especially on the diagonal wall.

Functionality in a small space
The small but fully functional kitchen space conceals a door to a mini pantry, a wine cabinet and storage space for kitchen essentials and dishes. A raised bar top on the living room side creates additional seating. Metal hockers with leather upholstery were placed right next to it. The whole is kept in shades of off white and complemented with gold. It is worth noting the discreet placement of household appliances. The built-in hood was placed on a fragment of the ceiling decorated with fins and backlighting. Meanwhile, the rest of the equipment is housed in a minimalist light wood cabinet.

Intriguing asymmetry
The bedroom is connected to the bath room. The bed with a leather headboard was custom-made according to MAKA Studio's original design. Asymmetry was used in the arrangement of this room. Most of the walls are covered with wood, however, behind half of the bed this material was replaced by a marble pattern. This material has already appeared in the apartment in the kitchen, among others. This irregularity is also emphasized by the lamps. On one side, a large white-gold lamp with an interesting shape was placed against the light wood. On the other hand, two smaller lamps with smoked glass were exposed on the marble side.
