The investor likes to surround himself with shiny materials. So architect Agnieszka Lesiuk of Art Design Studio created an arrangement full of shiny finishes, sapphire elements and golden details.
Shine, gold and sapphire
The main design goal was to achieve an interior that was unconventional, elegant and ergonomic at the same time.
- The investor's wish was to design an interior that would follow his individual preferences and tastes more than current trends. The owner, who likes glam and glitz, was not afraid of bold textures, patterns and surprising combinations. This opened up a lot of arrangement possibilities, also allowing to add a touch of femininity to the interiors — says architect Agnieszka Lesiuk.

Glittering stone
Reaching for decorative materials, gold and sapphire, the architect created an arrangement to suit the investor's needs. The decorative background is provided by wall and floor coverings finished in high gloss. Large-format stoneware imitates the use of stone. Finishing the blue floor in gloss allowed to optically enlarge the space.
For balance, the architect used a limited number of furnishings. One of them is a sofa with soft quilting in Chesterfield style. The furniture, kept in a light shade of gray, does not overwhelm the space. On the contrary — it adds the desired lightness to it. A note of extravagance is provided by sapphire curtains and an armchair in the same color. Their depth is brought out by gold accessories and lighting.

Subtlety of white
A sofa is not only a place to relax, but also a functional element of space organization. This is because it marks the border between the living room and dining area. In the latter you will find a large family table with a glass top, around which stand modern, yet light and delicate in form chairs. All the furniture is in pure white, alluding to the design of the open kitchen next door.
- The kitchenette was designed in such a way as not to compete with the living area. That is why I used white kitchen cabinet fronts and an interesting composition of patterned wallpaper on the wall visible from the living room. The kitchen countertop, along with a peninsula with a subtle stone pattern, perfectly ties the design concept of the living room with the kitchen. The overall design is lined with gold elements, which consistently run through the entire interior — explains the owner of Art Design Studio.

Bathrooms in navy blue
There are two bathrooms in the house. Both have been finished in an equally original way. The room with the bathtub is a relaxation zone. The centrally positioned free-standing model was additionally distinguished in color by the use of navy blue tiles with a stone structure. Everything is complemented by sapphire paint on the wall and ceiling above the bathtub. A strong eye-catching accent is also the glass washbasin in a shade of navy blue, which was matched with a gold-colored faucet.

The second bathroom is a stylistic continuation of the rest of the interior. Gold accessories and fixtures, sapphire wall coverings and, above all, floral wallpaper in the washbasin area blend beautifully with the arrangement of the other rooms. The gold ceramics are also worth noting.
- The second bathroom was equipped with a shower and a folding screen cabin. The use of this type of solution is ideal in small spaces or when we want to hide the shower. Such was the case with this project. I wanted to optically enlarge the bathroom and thus hide the cabin, so that the viewer's eyes would be focused on the beautiful floral wallpaper and gold accessories — reveals the architect.
