Hola Design studio has created the interiors of a vacation home near Warsaw. The building, located in a thicket of pine forest, is inspired by...an elegant yacht.
A space ideal for relaxation
The building has an area of 80 m². It consists of a kitchen area, a bedroom with a small closet and a bathroom with a shower. All the rooms were designed to make the most of the small space, while ensuring functionality and comfort.

Streamlined shapes
It was the owners who came up with the idea that the interior should refer to the design of a modern yacht.
- Rounded walls create a welcoming and enveloping space. The flowing and harmonious lines contribute to a sense of calm and relaxation. Less harsh than sharp angles, they promote a more organic feeling of space," explains Monika Bronikowska, co-owner of Hola Design.
Aligned shapes were also used to separate individual functional zones. Semicircular partitions subtly separate individual areas, creating smooth transitions. In this way, there are no hard, visual barriers in the interior. This promotes a sense of spaciousness. It is also emphasized by a large mirror, filling the entire fireplace wall.

Between the sea and the forest
The architects used neutral earth colors, such as beiges, creams, light browns and subtle grays. Such a color scheme builds tranquility and enhances closeness to nature. In the evenings, well-planned lighting - especially indirect and spot lighting - highlights the rounded forms, adding depth to the spaces.
- The cottage is a refuge, allowing the owners to feel the atmosphere of travel and vacation. Thanks to a well-thought-out arrangement, it transports memories from the seaside to a secluded interior among the pines. We created a place of relaxation, where nothing is associated with urban everyday life," says Adam Bronikowski, co-owner of Hola Design.

Relaxation with a view of greenery
The heart of the interior is a striking glass living room, which opens completely to the greenery on two sides. As a result, the boundaries between the interior and the surroundings are blurred, allowing one to fully experience the surrounding nature. However, if investors desire more privacy, simply close the curtains to create a cozy atmosphere. The warm character of the interior is further enhanced by a fireplace.

Sophisticated aesthetics
Semicircular niches in the bedroom create intimate corners, ideal for relaxation. Veneer in warm walnut tones was used on the ceiling and walls. The curved forms combined with natural materials such as wood, stone and soft-textured fabrics create a gentle, soothing arrangement.
