Is it possible to combine life in the center of a big city with the tranquility and intimacy of a home? The architect from the Decoroom studio proves that yes!
In the philosophy of japandi
The idea was to create an interior inspired by the japandi style in a modern, yet elegant way. Open, clean space, limited to a minimum furnishings, natural materials and, above all, a rich palette of earthy colors: from beiges to dark brown, with a touch of muted orange. The interiors, although subdued and minimalist, have not been deprived of arranging details that add to their charm. Indeed, in each of the rooms we will find elements that give the interior character and significantly distinguish it. In accordance with the spirit of japanese, it is one decisive stylistic accent that is supposed to attract attention, replacing decorations that are unnecessary in this convention. There is also no lack of functional solutions, which are the basis of the arrangement, as best evidenced by the carpentry shop Decoroom carpentry buildings that make maximum use of the potential of the apartment. What comes to the fore is comfort and convenience, dressed in high-quality materials.

Functional changes
Thanks to the creativity of the architect, the bedroom was transformed from an ordinary room into a model master bedroom. However, such a solution required intervention in the layout of the apartment.
- Originally, the bedroom was a separate, small room to the left of the entrance. A long corridor with a storage room led to it. So we demolished the wall to the bedroom and a small piece of the wall to the storage room, creating a huge master bedroom with a private entrance to a large bathroom with a bathtub," explains Aleksandra Miodowska of the Decoroom studio.

With a head in flowers
The result is a sumptuous restful interior with a private bathroom and a roomy dressing room. Earthy colors and natural materials dominate here, conducive to relaxation. The most decorative element of the furnishings is a wallpaper with a floral motif. It adorns the entire wall behind the caramel-colored headboard of the bed, which, while equally striking, gives way to it. Curtains in juicy apricot are an interesting contrast to the subdued color scheme.

With attention to detail
Awardrobe en closure adds to the stylistic discipline, also providing optimum storage space. On either side of the bed you'll find simple bedside tables with gold details. However, the lamp suspended above the bed is worth noting. The modern interpretation of a traditional chandelier is striking, but at the same time does not overwhelm the interior, as it was created from natural material. The room also has room for a small dressing table.
