  1. Interiorsy studio is responsible for the project.
  2. The space was created for a family of 4.
  3. The attic was connected to the lower floor. In this way, a separate apartment was separated from the three-story house.
  4. The downstairs is a private area. The attic has been allocated for parents' and children's bedrooms.

Thanks to architects from Interiorsy studio, the three-level house underwent a thorough metamorphosis. After adapting the attic and completely changing the functional layout of the rooms, a cozy and stylish retreat for a family of four was created here.

Thorough changes

The house in Warsaw is a perfect example of how, with the help of architects, it is possible not only to transform the interiors, but also to adapt the available space according to the changing needs of the owners. Two independent apartments were created here from two floors with an attic. Those located on the first floor and connected to the previously unused upper floor are occupied by a family of four. However, before it found its place here, the functional layout of the rooms had to be re-planned and the attic space had to be adapted for residential purposes.

- We were given the task of combining the attic with the lower floor and thus isolating a separate apartment for a 4-person family. The work had to be done in consultation with the builder, especially in punching a hole in the ceiling and inserting stairs between floors. This is how the lower part was created, with a large living room with a dining room, an open kitchen, a study and a bathroom. In the attic we separated rooms for children and a bedroom with a dressing room. There was also a second bathroom - says Radoslaw Wójcik of the Interiorsy studio.

Clever layout

Although the renovation work was complicated, the result was worth the effort put in. With the help of architects, a spacious and cozy apartment of 130 sqm was created here. To make optimal use of the available space, the designers divided the floors into usable zones. Downstairs there was a spacious living room, a stylish dining room and an open, but located in a completely different place, kitchen. In turn, under the slants, rooms for two children - a boy and a girl - found their place, as well as the owners' bedroom combined with a dressing room. There are also bathrooms on both floors, and a study for work downstairs.

Common space

The living space, although completely open, has been divided into three separate functional zones. Thanks to this solution, the individual rooms, although they form one visually coherent whole, do not intermingle, allowing you to freely use each of them. The spacious living room is a place created for relaxation. It features a large corner sofa. A space where the whole family can spend time together. A cozy, conducive to warm relationships atmosphere is built here by subdued colors maintained in the palette of earth colors and white stylized furniture. A sunny accent is the yellow armchair, the color of which is emphasized by the wall with RTV cabinet finished in intense navy blue. It brings a large dose of positive energy to the interior.

Kitchen and dining room conducive to meetings

From the living room to the kitchen, the way leads through the equally cozy dining room. However, this is a space with a more formal character, which is emphasized by its elegant decor. The main role here is played by a white folding table, which was matched with stylized chairs with navy blue upholstery. Like the wallpaper on the wall by the stairs, this is a conscious reference to the style of the living room. An interesting design element is a window-shaped mirror with muntins, which is exposed on a wall decorated with white brick. The whole builds an atmosphere conducive to shared meals, not only in the family circle. In turn, the kitchen, located in the second part of the open living area, is a nod to minimalism and functionality. Here you can fully indulge in the passion of cooking, without worrying about smells permeating or mess. The white built-in furniture provides ample storage space and its smooth fronts are easy to keep clean. Also impressive is the large worktop, routed along the entire length of the wall with a window. Here you can not only indulge in culinary experiments with the whole family, but also display your favorite kitchen accessories and appliances.

A place of relaxation

The first floor, on the other hand, is a private oasis for each household member. Here you will find a pastel pink room for a girl and a boy's room decorated in subdued grays. This is also where the owners' spacious bedroom found its place.

Loft bathroom

Although all these rooms have been arranged in a bright, relaxing color palette, the bathroom is an exception. This is a room with a definite character inspired by loft style. Hence the gray wall coverings are complemented by furniture and fixtures in the same color and black industrial lighting. As befits this design convention, the raw character of the room is warmed by the wood used for countertops. The whole is complemented by white ceramics and chrome plumbing fixtures.
