Agnieszka Zaranek and Elzbieta Czubaj of the Decoroom studio designed the interior of an apartment located in Sochaczew. The apartment is part of a new development in the city center.

Tailored kitchen
The open living area consists of a kitchen and a living room. In the annex there is a custom-made development. It was made according to the architects' design in the Decoroom carpentry shop. Furniture fronts in sandy beige were juxtaposed with copper-colored handles and hanging shelves in the same shade. Next to the kitchenette a small dining room was arranged. A round wooden table is complemented by bright openwork chairs and a decorative lamp.

Colorful accents
The centerpiece of the living room is a sofa upholstered with bouclé fabric in a subtle shade of green. It is accompanied by two wooden coffee tables with a light form. The walls are decorated with soft, neutral paint, which provides the perfect backdrop for minimalist decorations such as an abstract painting in pastel colors and ceramic accessories. Large windows draped with light, cream-colored curtains bring a lot of natural light into the interior, which emphasizes the beauty of the wooden floor.

Good organization
The architects also created a dressing room. Both shelves and a rail for hanging clothes were used in it, which allows for convenient storage. On the fronts of the closet door and the wall next to it, you will find a laminate reproducing oak wood with delicate knots. This subtly breaks the white of the lobby walls.
- It's a place to live, which provides comfort thanks to well-planned storage spaces, promotes tranquility thanks to the subdued color scheme, and provides a neutral base that presents well the arrangement possibilities of the premises," says Agnieszka Zaranek.

Soothing greenery
In the bedroom the attention is drawn to the bed with an upholstered headrest in a saturated shade of green. Above it was placed a furniture cabinet with lacquered fronts in a warm shade of beige. Bedside tables and hanging shelves, meanwhile, introduce accents of dirty pink. Decorative lighting on the tables and a pendant lamp in the shape of a flower complete the look.

Many faces of brown
The bathroom was decorated in earthy colors. The shower area was symbolically separated from the rest of the room with decorative stoneware in shades of brown and beige. The minimalist cabin is complemented by copper-colored fixtures, which blend beautifully with the tiles. The rounded washbasin was placed on a cabinet, which refers in form to the built-in kitchen. Above it hangs a large simple mirror, which optically enlarges the space.
