Material of the Faculty of Architecture at ZUT
"The future follows form" - the motto of the Faculty of Architecture is an awareness of the future challenges of the world we live in. How we shape and will shape our environment - interiors, buildings, and eventually cities and landscape will determine our future. Architecture is the art of shaping the human living environment, that is, creating a built space that serves people. Architecture combines engineering sciences and fine arts. The tool of expression of architectural creation is design. The projects of fine art, architecture and urban planning deal with a very broad spectrum of issues - aesthetic, functional, technical, technological and social. Such projects are created at the Faculty of Architecture at ZUT.
An architect has extensive knowledge in the field of construction, and at the same time has manual skills that allow him to express his idea in the form of a drawing, model or virtual reality. The profession of architect enjoys public confidence. The architect, creating the near and far environment, thus creates the form of our future. All this history is happening here, at the Faculty of Architecture, ZUT.

- ArchitectureS2,
- Architecture N2.
Graduates of the faculty of architecture, receive interdisciplinary knowledge that opens up many opportunities in the labor market , in particular, allowing them to take up professional work in the field of architecture, urban planning and art, and actively participate in the investment process in the construction industry. The program of studies in the field of architecture includes design, engineering and art subjects.
Graduates of the first degree program in architecture, obtain the professional title of engineer architect. This allows them to take up second degree studies and work in design units as assistant designers. Second degree graduates obtain the title of magister inżynier architekt. This title makes it possible to obtain a construction license to design without limitations in the architectural specialty, and further to perform an independent technical function in construction (independent architectural designer, construction expert). Second-degree graduates can also continue their studies at the Doctoral School.
Students majoring in architecture receive a comprehensive education in architectural design, construction, art and humanities issues. All this makes it possible to undertake a variety of professional activities related to architecture, investment and engineering projects and art. In particular, the architect is responsible for the course of the architectural and construction process, starting from the design idea, through cooperation with industry specialists, author's supervision of the implementation of the architectural project on the construction site, up to obtaining permission to use the building.
What distinguishes our course?
- a significant share of practical design classes, but also in the field of art (exercises and design laboratories),
- didactic classes are taught by independent designers of architecture and urban planning with many years of experience, as well as by representatives of other branches (installations, building structures and others),
