conscious site selection in the spirit of organic architecture
The designed building is located in Borek Stary, a village near Rzeszow. The author of the work took care not only of the detailed concept of the building, but also of the area around it. By taking into account both the needs of visitors and the environment, the work fits into the trend of organic architecture.

The creation of the center's concept was preceded by a research part. Martyna Janaś analyzed the importance of yoga and mindfulness training in everyday life. She also looked at the impact of yoga centers on the physical and mental health of practitioners, as well as the situation of yoga in selected countries, comparing Poland with them.
no spirituality without contact with nature
The author studied the plot of land chosen to carry out the project, analyzing the terrain, the functions of the development, road and pedestrian communication, height and greenery, and terrain. As a result, she planned a green space inspired by Japanese gardens on the eastern side of the plot, while on the western side she placed dormitories and fire pits for bonfires. The area is covered with varied high and low greenery, between which one can move along a concrete or stone path.
The shape of the building of the center for yoga and mindfulness practice resembles a lotus flower.
The plant is a symbol of man's spiritual journey and purity

and after yoga - sauna and massage
On the first floor level there was a reception area with a waiting room. Walls with arched openings divide the space into a canteen room and a relaxation area, from which one can go to the outdoor terrace. Yoga rooms have been placed on level -1, along with saunas and massage rooms. Three dormitory rooms and viewing terraces were planned for the top floor of the building.
The designer has taken care of the accessibility of the building and other landscaping elements, designing them in such a way as to allow free use by all people, regardless of their level of physical fitness.

A trip out of town and a weekend with yoga?
The project also features dormitory cottages in two variants, which include private rooms for meditation in addition to a bedroom, living room or bathroom. The facades of the cottages and the main center are the same, kept in subdued colors thanks to the wooden construction.
The design provides users with close contact with nature, and its form, thanks to the rounded shapes of the body and interiors, supports the goal of reducing stress levels. This is also facilitated by the proximity of forest areas adjacent to the plot.
