The 19th-century walls of Scheibler's factory are getting a new life. The post-industrial building has been turned into a complex of loft apartments. One of them was designed by architect Kseniia Kryzhenko of the Decoroom studio.
Classics with a twist
The arrangement is dominated by a light color scheme consisting of beiges and whites. Subtle black contrasts add character to the space. In the foreground is the built-in cabinet integrated with the sink and washing machine. The front of the cabinet is finished with vertical grooves, which give the interior a modern look. A countertop with a uniform white surface provides space for both everyday toiletries and decorative accents, such as a ceramic vase with an olive branch. Elements such as a black sink faucet and a minimalist cabinet handle add elegance.

Intriguing patterns
A tiled floor with a delicate geometric pattern perfectly fits into the cohesive character of the interior, while enlivening the space. However, this is not the end of the interesting patterns. One of the walls was covered with a waterproof wallpaper with a botanical motif. The unobvious juxtaposition of tiles with a bold pattern and the lining with a floral pattern introduces a touch of artistic freedom into the interior.

Practical solutions
A functional ladder radiator provides comfort, and its white shade fits in perfectly with the rest of the interior. The shower area is a perfect complement to the overall arrangement, combining functionality with modern design. A walk-in shower with a transparent glass wall visually enlarges the space, while large imitation stone wall tiles introduce a touch of raw character. The floor was covered with the same patterned tiles, making the whole design cohesive. The black fixtures are a striking accent that contrasts with the bright surfaces, adding depth to the interior.
