Nowadays, bathroom design is no longer based solely on aesthetics and functionality. A bath room must be created in a way that responds to rising prices and the urgent need to save water. By betting on solutions that encourage good daily habits and choosing durable, high-quality products, we will be doing ourselves and the world a service.
A bathroom for the times
It is worth investing in good and durable products. After all, the bathroom is a place we use repeatedly every day. So it is best to be guided by the durability of materials when choosing finishes and furnishings. In the case of furniture , these will be boards made of recycled wood, especially MDF and HDF. It is best if they are additionally protected with an immune film, acrylic or varnish. If you want wooden furniture, choose exotic species that are resistant to moisture. On the walls, traditional ceramic tiles will be ideal. Nowadays we have a wide range of tiles imitating other finishing materials, so there will be no problem with matching tiles to the dream decor. Thus, we will create not only a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing space, but also one that we will not have to renovate, invest in and change for years.

Every drop counts
With lakes and rivers drying up before our eyes, electricity and gas prices rising, and inflation out of control, we need to start living more carefully every day. Today, every drop of water saved or kilowatt-hour of electricity used to heat it counts. Whenwesave, we counteract processes that could make the water in our taps unavailable in the future. During a bath we use an average of almost 80 liters of hot water and more than 30 of cold water, while for a 5-minute shower it is 50 liters, and each minute shorter in the shower saves another 10. Our health also benefits, because long baths in hot water are not friendly to the skin and destroy its natural protective barrier. A shower also saves space. In addition, one of the biggest bathroom design trends is sleek and minimalist walk-in cabins.

Once and done right
Trends change, and transient fashions create new solutions. They tempt with new colors, patterns and materials. However, you can easily prevent the need for frequent changes in interiors. Renovations are not only additional costs, but also more waste. Trends come and go, so in design the most valuable thing is timelessness. So let's choose minimalist elements, in muted colors and simple shapes. For example, a bathroom kept in shades of beige will be a choice for years. This color will simply never go out of fashion. Moreover, even if we want to make changes, just a few small additions will be enough to change the character of such an interior. The same is true for white, gray and black.
