Anna Tomaska-Szmaja is an interior decorator and author of the blog "From Inspiration to Realization". She specializes in home metamorphoses in the spirit of DIY, proving that beautiful arrangements can be achieved without spending a fortune. On a daily basis she designs interiors for her clients, but it's decorating her own apartment that she has the most fun with. Together with her husband and son, Ania lives in a house in the countryside. The main bathroom is the fulfillment of Ania's dream of a luxurious home spa and a space filled with light.

The most important issue was the right amount of space. The designer wanted to put a comfortable free-standing bathtub and a shower in the bathroom. In addition, space was needed for all bathroom accessories. For this reason, the dimensions of the bathroom are 2.75 × 2.85 meters, while the height of the room is as high as 3 meters.

Ania loves bright, neutral colors and natural materials. So it's no surprise that she decided to apply all this to her bathroom. The floor and walls are covered with marble tiles with gold accents inspired by kintsugi - the Japanese art of filling cracks with gold. Thebathtub is white, as is the countertop sink, which is placed on a large, classic cabinet in broken white. The shower enclosure is minimalist. It is constructed entirely of clear glass. Both the bathtub, shower and basin have an elegant finish in the form ofsilver-colored faucets.

Ubiquitous white, minimalism and metal elements only seemingly sound cool. Ania finished the interior of the bathroom with natural fabrics in shades of beige. There was no shortage of curtains and, of course, towels. Thanks to them and interesting marble patterns on the floor and walls, it was possible to achieve a cozy character and the effect of a comfortable, private spa area.
