This project of a single-family two-bedroom house in Gdynia is probably one of the most difficult projects (despite its small scale) that we have been able to realize so far in our studio. The plot is located in the second line of development from the main street. Access to the property is a narrow strip of land with a fairly steep slope directed toward the road.

The investor's desire was to realize a large garage hall under the entire plot. This required the use of perimeter walls made of reinforced concrete and digging up the entire site. The body of the building itself and the garage hall had to be shaped in such a way as not to disturb the root system of the historic and protected tree located on the plot.

Despite these difficulties, the plot has an unparalleled advantage - it borders a large park, in which there is a historic palace. The entire site, including the building, has been extensively renovated. The view and the directions of the world caused the living room, dining room and bedrooms to be located on the south side. This solution makes the main rooms perfectly illuminated and with an excellent view. The main rooms have large glazing.

The facade was made of graphite fiber-cement panels. Its divisions are a kind of mosaic, which gives the building a varied and abstract character. The body itself has been simplified to the maximum. Additional elements of small architecture such as retaining walls, railings were made of concrete.
