What is Venetian plaster
Venetian plaster is a decorative technique for ceilings and especially walls, which dates back to 15th-century Venice, when molding and carving played a major role in achieving unique ornamentation. It is also known as wall stucco, whose finish and texture resemble polished marble.

Another tip is that the wall on which you decide to apply Venetian plaster should be a darker color than the rest of the walls.
It's a little less common to see this technique in bedrooms, although it's a really good idea - we can add it to our roster of interesting wall decorations behind the bed. In this case, lighter tones dominate.
