Located in Tarnowskie Góry, the house has an area of nearly 150 sqm. Katarzyna Szramek, an interior designer, is responsible for its decoration, who designed interiors full of warmth at the request of the investors.
Cozy and functional
The main design goal was to create a warm, cozy and well-lit interior, based on consistent colors and materials. At the same time arranged so as to maximize the use of available space and optimize it in terms of function. Hence the choice of natural materials - wood and stone, as well as earth colors, among which black plays a prominent role. It's modern, comfortable and very elegant, but at the same time intimate and atmospheric.

Wrapped in wood
Wood has become the leitmotif of the interior design. Katarzyna Szramek juxtaposed it with natural stone in dark coloration and extremely elegant black, whose depth is added by matte finishes. Thus, not only the floors, stairs or furniture are made of wood, but also the decorative elements of the walls in the form of decorative panels, which spectacularly highlighted build the atmosphere in the interior.

Open living area
Located on the first floor, the living space, although completely open, has been divided into distinct zones. Hence, the spacious living room is separated from the kitchen with dining room by an elegant staircase, marking the passageways.
The living room has been decorated in light, subdued colors. Furniture here has been kept to a minimum. The space is bright and spacious, yet cozy and comfortable. A large, comfortable sofa in light beige is the perfect place to relax by the fireplace or in front of the TV. It also provides enough space when guests come over. Meanwhile, the elegant and modern character of the interior is emphasized by black, also scrolling through in the form of natural stone details.

The entire furniture in the kitchen was kept in black. Its smooth, matte fronts are framed in wooden frames and seasoned with dark stone with striking beading, which adorns the walls and countertops. The kitchen is not only elegant, but also ergonomic. It contains all the necessary equipment and plenty of storage space. The food preparation area is discreetly hidden behind a peninsula, while the dining area is effectively obscured by a fully glazed modern sideboard.

Two faces of the bathroom
The bathrooms are equally chic and functional. The first of them is located on the first floor. Here, too, we find the same design motifs used in the rest of the house. Wood imitating tiles here are interspersed with dark, decorative stone, and their location clearly delineates the usable zones. The modern character of the interior is emphasized by the carefully selected furnishings. Copper lamps and fixtures add to the overall glamour.

The upstairs bathroom, which is combined with a sauna, is even more impressive. Here we find the same materials and colors that appeared in the first bathroom. The shower area is lined with striking tiles with a dark stone motif. Right next to it is a free-standing bathtub. Meanwhile, a large illuminated mirror with a round shape was placed on the wall behind the sink. The whole is complemented by decorative faucets.
