This project was to be based on the nostalgia associated with the views of the house by the river. The client wanted to create her space in Warsaw, where she visits from time to time. The project was done by Modeko.Studio.

Work on the interior began with a change in the functional layout - the living room space was opened to the maximum, leaving only one additional office. It was important to calm the interior and be consistent in the choice of colors and materials. The color scheme is based on a dim palette of earth and sky colors. Faded green, bleached natural oak color, beiges and grays. Black details enter this space.
Black graphic lines "draw" the shapes of furniture, niches and walls throughout the apartment-they mark the boundaries between the planes of wood, veneer and quartz sinters. We can see them in the details of the furniture, in the form of profiles surrounding the mirrors and glass walls of the shower," adds architect Pawel Leczycki of Modeko.Studio.
first impression
A distinctive solution was used in the hallway - tiles arranged in a geometric, fine pattern. On the left was a closet, serving as a dressing room. Then you enter the space that the architect called the "master zone" - this is the sleeping space. The essence of the hallway is glazing, which allows for good lighting in this usually darkened space.

The living area was to be maximally open. In this part, the focus was on natural colors. Modern furnishings along with unique wood-colored furniture were to be complemented by a 19th century piano. In the lounge area there is a pleasant plush armchair, and next to it a fold-out sofa.

A slightly hidden kitchen
Right next to the living area is the kitchen with a small dining room. It is separated by a unique openwork screen made of solid oak wood with a French herringbone motif. The heart of the kitchen is a sizable kitchen island kept in white color. The fronts of the built-in are dark green. The upper development was solved in an interesting way - vertical wooden laths were used here.

bedroom or "master zone"
In this part, geometric flooring was decided on, close to the solution from the hallway. The central place in the room was taken by a large bed. In addition to gray, wooden buildings dominate here. A painting by Dorota Buczkowska was placed behind the headrest, for which vertical wooden laths form the background.

two-color bathroom
Half of the bathroom space was made in light wood colors. The other half was finished with quartz sinter in the color of concrete. This is also supported by practical solutions - wood is used where it is less exposed to water.
