Creating a functional and aesthetically pleasing space for a family is quite a challenge. Check out how Paulina Babiak-Skwara and Izabela Łuszczkiewicz of AVO Architects handled it.

Minimalism and harmony
The architects made the most changes in the living zone. The unified floor optically enlarged the interior. Gray tiles with a delicate drawing perfectly match the modern decor. The heart of the lounge area is a spacious corner sofa in graphite shade. It is complemented by a stylish coffee table and a TV wall, which gained a modern character thanks to customized furniture. The sofa stood right next to the stairs leading upstairs. It is worth noting the practical use of the space under the stairs. The designers created a capacious built-in unit there, which provides storage space.

A place to work
The study is located on the first floor. It is separated from the rest of the interior by a glass door. Its arrangement combines modern design with practicality, offering comfortable conditions for performing duties. A simple wooden desk and black accessories create an arrangement with a slightly industrial character. The only decorative element is a wallpaper with a landscape motif kept in calm tones.

Colorful bedroom
The room that breaks out of the subdued color scheme is the bedroom. Here shades of pink dominate. They are complemented by accents of light gray. The small space has been used to the maximum. Above the bed with a cozy upholstered headrest, there is another built-in cabinet. The closet opposite has been fitted with glass fronts. This makes the bedroom seem larger. The architects have also arranged a small dressing table with a large round mirror and two capacious drawers.

Classic bathroom
The bathroom is large enough that the architects managed to fit both a free-standing bathtub and a shower cubicle in it. The arrangement is minimalist. It is based on a combination of three colors: white, black and gray. Such a subdued but elegant combination is a perfect example of combining aesthetics with functionality. An aspect that adds variety to the decor is the textures. The architects decided to use as many as three different types of tiles here. The walls are covered with marble-patterned tiles, the floor is kept in gray, while in the shower area you will find white tiles with fluting. The whole is complemented by ornate gold faucets, which stand out beautifully against the background of the subdued arrangement.
