The project was created by Gabriel Helegda of Helegda Studio. The wall behind the bed was lined with wood. The dresser in the bathroom was created from reclaimed wood. We have previously presented the kitchen and dining room of a house decorated in the style of a mountain chalet. Today we look at the bedroom and bathroom arrangements by Gabriel Helegda of Helegda Studio.

Cozy wood

The owners' bedroom is located on the first floor. A comfortable bed stood in the center, against a wall lined with boards. The piece of furniture has a beautiful, tied with ties, upholstery imitating linen. On either side, the designer placed small nightstands finished in Viennese plaid. The same one that decorates the dining room chairs. Warmth and coziness is added by the original wallpaper, which to the touch resembles a fabric with a thick weave, and curtains in a black and white checkered pattern.

Oriental accents

Opposite the bedroom was located the hosts' bathroom. Its arrangement is a mix of tradition and modernity. It has room for both a large walk-in shower cubicle and a free-standing bathtub. The dominant color, as in the whole house, is blue. The wall under the shower is decorated with glazed tiles shining in various shades of blue. The tiles have uneven edges and discoloration. As a result, they nicely relate to the oriental in atmosphere terracotta on the floor. It imitates the old floor tiles. Behind the wall separating the shower area from the rest of the bathroom, in a small niche, a suspended chest of drawers made of recycled wood was designed. The piece of furniture has two drawers. It is covered by a matte quartz sinter countertop, imitating concrete. The architect matched it with interesting faucets finished in antique bronze. Their surface will gently discolor over time, until they get an eye-pleasing noble patina.

Playing with form and scale

Right next door is the guest toilet. Here the attention is drawn to the original, very deep, washbasin set on a low-slung wooden countertop. The fluted blue wall blends beautifully with raw wood and tiles imitating stone. It is decorated with a mirror with irregular, streamlined lines and a small wall lamp.
