Granite or stainless steel - how to choose the right sink?

With so many options available, it can be stressful and confusing. We'll walk you through the pros and cons of both stainless steel and granite sinks, hoping to make your decision a little easier!
Stainless steel
Stainless steel sinks have been popular for years. This material is widely used especially in the restaurant industry due to its exceptional durability, resistance to various substances or high temperatures, impact and abrasion.
Technological and design developments have meant that today we have a huge variety in terms of style and configuration options. In short, stainless steel is no longer boring, it can be beautiful. This material will also blend well with other chrome and stainless steel kitchen appliances, such as ovens, dishwashers and refrigerators, creating a cohesive look throughout the space.
Steel is sometimes polished to a high gloss or matte, or satin finish. A texture resembling fabric is also popular . In addition to the interesting visual effect, its advantage is that it does not show stains. What's more, stainless steel is 100% recyclable, so you know you're also contributing to the environment!
One example is the 48 x 48 cm single-bowl, smooth, flush-mounted model. It has a side overflow and siphon included. The designer placed this particular sink in an arrangement with an island in a kitchen decorated in an industrial style: with brick in various shades of beige and brown on one of the walls, with steel workshop-style lower cabinets. Granite
A granite sink usually consists of about 80% granite and 20% acrylic resin, which provides durability that is hard to match! Choosing granite also means you're getting a sink that's scratch-, stain- and heat-resistant, which means fewer worries when you're running wild in the kitchen. In addition, depending on the brand, there are a variety of colors to choose from that will fit into most arrangements.
