Lighting is a must-have fixture. However, in addition to its utilitarian functions, it also offers us many design possibilities. Check out how to illuminate the interior in an interesting and effective way.
The more, the better
The most common solution with one lamp in the middle of the room, is not at all the best solution. There should be several different sources of light in the interior, so that the household members can adjust it both for relaxation, meals at the table and for remote work. So it's important to think about how we will use the room already at the design stage. Where will we read a book, and where will we watch TV? In which room will we work? These questions will determine the choice of fixtures.

Designating functional zones
With the help of lighting you can also separate individual zones. This is especially important when combining different spaces that used to be separate rooms, for example, after merging the living room with the kitchen. Such a living area can have multiple functions, for example, dining, study and relaxation. Solutions to clearly organize the room are both color divisions and the use of a variety of fixtures that will differ not only in style, but also in light intensity and color. A great help in creating such an arrangement will be the purchase of lamps, which offer a choice of many different types of lighting within a single collection - starting from surface-mounted fixtures, passing through recessed into the ceiling, and ending with movable spotlights and classic fixtures set on cables.

What kind of lighting for the bathroom?
Good lighting in the bathroom is especially important because of the activities we perform in it. In order to make morning makeup and daily toileting quick and pleasant, functional light sources should appear especially in the area near the mirror. Mirrors with integrated LED lighting and fixtures whose light is diffused by milky glass are an interesting solution. When choosing luminaires for the bathroom, you should also pay attention to the technical parameters. Before buying, it is worth remembering to check whether a given luminaire is characterized by the appropriate tightness, such as IP44 or IP65. Then the selected lighting is resistant to the increased humidity that prevails in the bathroom. This will prevent a dangerous electrical short in the room.
