A good interior is one that we adapt to our passions. In the case of the interior designed by Iza Gemzałe of the Prosty Plan studio, the most important thing was to refer to travel - the greatest passion of the owners.

Located in Warsaw, the apartment belongs to a married couple, who relied on more color, and it was also important to refer to traveling passion. The apartment consists of three rooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a noticeably large hallway.
first impression - the hallway
The entrance to the apartment opens into a large, space kept in white tones punctuated by wood. The hallway was intended to serve a functional function, hence the decision to have white furniture with delicate milling. This solution allows to create a large space for storage. The floor was divided into two parts - finished with geometric tiles and herringbone wooden parquet, which will have a continuation in the next interiors.

The structure that delineates the interior - the kitchen
The element that determined the division of the kitchen was the structural column. Based on it, the kitchen was separated from the living room by a wall and a counter with cabinets and bookshelves. In this way, the kitchen area was simultaneously separated and united.
The spacious, made-to-measure furniture has plenty of space for storing food and preparing meals," says architect Iza Gemzala of the Prosty Plan studio.

The dominant element in the kitchen is the color of wood. The architect and investors decided on a warm shade of oak veneer, which correlates with the parquet of oak staves arranged in a herringbone pattern. A similar continuation of the theme from the hallway can be seen with the tiles - geometric shapes appear next to the front development.
Between the kitchen and living room there was a table where meals are eaten. The simple wooden table is complemented by beige fabric-finished chairs. Significant in the interior are curtains, coming from the Lifestyle collection created in cooperation between architect Iza Gemzala and the Marcin Dekor brand.

relaxing - living room
The focal point of the rest area is the sofa - it's a spreading corner sofa in a unique khaki shade. Next to it, a green plant is visible and bookshelves, which are an essential element of the interior. The clients' passion for reading required the introduction of several such solutions throughout the house.

in the thicket of foliage - the bedroom
The most private part of the house is the bedroom. Here it was decided to use a unique colorful wallpaper with a motif of exotic leaves. Small wooden tables and built-ins kept in a dim gray blue color appear. On the bed pillows in several colors complete the arrangement.
My favorite room in this project is the bedroom. Its main decoration is the wallpaper on one of the walls. Giant exotic leaves, in broken shades of green, syena and ochre, spread like a canopy over the visually light wooden bed," says architect Iza Gemzala.
