Elegant bedroom and dressing room decorated in earthy colors

The apartment located on the top, 8th floor of an apartment building in Warsaw's Powiśle district, is refined in every detail. It has a beautiful view from its windows, while there is a terrace on the roof. These qualities captivated both the investors and Patrycja Suszek-Rączkowska, owner of the Poco Design studio, which was approached by the apartment owners to design the interior.

Dressing room

The apartment's master bedroom is preceded by an elegant dressing room, fully finished with oak-toned veneer.

- Before we got that perfect tone, we made countless samples," the architect recalls.

Interestingly, the veneer also covers the inside of the door leaf. In a similar way, the designer also individualized the entrances to other rooms of the apartment. Here the warm tone of brown was reinforced by the use of smoked glass in the vitrines, which are illuminated from the inside. On the floor of the dressing room you will find a soft carpet in a gray shade. Comfortable pouffe refers in its material to the headrest of the bed.

Designer bed

In the bedroom, the original bed catches the eye. The form of the furniture draws from the design of the 1930s, while at the same time it has something of the boat in it. Patrycja Suszka-Rączkowska decided on this one not only because of the interesting form of the furniture, but also because of the high class of workmanship. The noble walnut veneer here even covers the interior of the bedding container.

Thoughtful accessories

On two sides of the bed there are minimalist bedside tables and contrasting lamps. At the bottom, meanwhile, squats a sculptural doorstop. The background for the whole composition is formed by wallpaper with a mosaic pattern, visually elevating the interior. On the adjacent wall hangs a work by Eva Jablonski. The monumental canvas oscillates between organic and geometric forms - just like the entire interior.
