Located near the forest, the house combines natural materials such as wood and stone with a contemporary architectural form. The building, in the form of a so-called modern barn, was designed to blend in well with its surroundings. The premise consists of two main parts covered by a gabled roof, which were designed on a rectangular plan. This is a solution referring to the traditional construction of Kashubia, which was dominated by buildings designed on a rectangular plan.

The main parts of the house, have been connected by a delicate glass cube, which is the entrance area to the building. This space also serves as the main circulation shaft, from which you can access the upper floor of the house.

The tranquil simple body of the building, finished with natural materials, was intended to fit into the trend of sustainable development, which is very important for the investor and designers.
The dark color of the facade, finished with wood fired using technology inspired by the Japanese art of Shou Sugi Ban, blends very well with the dense greenery surrounding the building. At the same time, the use of wood as the dominant facade material was intended to refer to the character and appearance of traditional Kashubian houses. Details of lighter larch wood, as well as the stone-finished chimney and exterior fireplace, are material accents, giving the whole a somewhat rustic character. The plot is dominated by deciduous trees, which create a backdrop that changes with the seasons for the house, which is subdued in its form and color.
Each of the two main parts of the building has been divided into several functional zones. In the first of these is the open-plan designed expansive living area of the house, with a living room open to the outdoor pool, as well as a dining room with its own independent terrace and a comfortable kitchen.

Above the living room there is a mezzanine floor, where a home library has been designed, and a walkway leading to two guest bedrooms. Each of them has a mezzanine, on which a bedded sleeping area is located. On the lower level, each bedroom has a small living room, a work area and a large walk-in closet. Thus, this space is ideal for visiting guests, as well as the owners' adult children, who can come to visit their parents with their families.
The second part of the house includes a spa area with a partially indoor pool and sauna, as well as a gym. On the first floor of this part of the building the master bedroom is located, along with a bathroom and dressing room, and a large home office. The high bedroom of the homeowners was designed so that there is a direct view of the indoor pool area. There is also an exit from it to a small loggia. This room was designed to give the owners a sense of space. The investor's wish was to create a complete house, a place of inspiration where he could work, train, relax and spend time with loved ones.
