Furniture from the communist period delights many of us. They are reappearing in interiors along with the fashion for retro styling. Among the already iconic designs, one of the most coveted is the Club Armchair. Its timelessness is probably due to its aesthetically pleasing form, but above all to its properly contoured design, which ensures the pleasure of use.
These armchairs were produced on a large scale in East Germany. Many of them, in later years, found their way to Poland thanks to numerous exhibitions on German streets. There, furniture from the 1950s was not as eagerly kept as in Poland.

Scandinavian simplicity
Uszak, as it is also called, blends perfectly not only into interiors referring to the Mid-Century Modern style. Its curved form captivates with its simplicity, which makes it somewhat reminiscent of Scandinavian design. Thus, this model will also find its way into classic and even completely modern arrangements, among minimalist design, without taking away the elegance and class of the space.

Aesthetic form and stable structure
The ergonomic form of the Club Armchair makes it extremely comfortable. The seat of a definite shape, with a wide, comfortable backrest, finely tapering to the bottom, is set on slender, turned legs. Most often they are made of wood, but sometimes they are also made of metal. They are fixed in such a way that they slightly diverge downward, which gives an extremely stable piece of furniture. The armchair is therefore suitable for lounge areas, restaurants or hotels, but also in home arrangements, where it can stand, for example, by the fireplace in the living room, in the bedroom near the closet, or in the children's room. With its help we can also create a cozy coffee corner in our study.
