The less than 70-square-meter apartment is located in a new housing estate in Gdańsk. The apartment designed by the KODO studio is finished in a nautical style. Elements alluding to nautical aesthetics can be found both in the base finish and in the accessories.

Marine accents
The basis for the design of the apartment's arrangement was a moodboard prepared by the investors. Due to the fact that the apartment is intended for rental, the main design consideration was an unconventional combination of minimalism with functionality, ease of maintenance and durability of the materials and equipment used. This was realized through unusual color choices, a thorough analysis of the available space in terms of its usability and a careful selection of available design solutions.

Elegant and functional
Five main, clearly separated rooms - a living room with a kitchenette, a bedroom, an office/guest room, a bathroom and a toilet - have been furnished to meet the requirements of both short-term and long-term rentals. Comfortable and spacious, yet cozy and full of light, the spaces are equipped with versatile furnishings such as large tables, desks, comfortable chairs, beds, upholstered furniture, functional tables and shelves. There is also plenty of storage space.

Modernity with a warm touch of classic
Light colors such as white, beige and gray have been complemented with accents of muted blue and steel. The whole is complemented by light shades of wood. It is conquered by unusual accessories. Lamella partitions, designer light fixtures, seats over covered radiators, original window shades, unusual bathroom ceramics, wall graphics, and above all - small marine decorative accents and ubiquitous arches, reminding us that we have the sea almost at our fingertips.
