Sunbathing not only gives a beautiful tan, but also has a positive effect on our mood and physical health. Nevertheless, the sun's rays are worth dosing in moderation. So when arranging the garden, we can install sun sails, which are a practical and highly aesthetic way to shade a part of the terrace or garden.

Summer relaxation under the cover
We are paying more and more attention to the planning of our home gardens. They are becoming spaces for rest and recreation. They can be used for entertaining, socializing, or lounging in a hammock. Summer relaxation in the midst of greenery gives a lot of pleasure, but on condition that we have somewhere to take shelter from excessive sun.
Asunshade sail is an excellent idea for creating shade. It is a fairly large sheet of material that can be spread out seamlessly over a resting place. It can be unzipped in any way you want, so as to cover as much space as possible.
In addition to its practical function, this solution is also extremely aesthetic. It brings to mind the climate of sunny, southern countries. So we can cover the terrace, balcony or garden table with it. The material will then also protect against small rain and leaves falling from the trees.

Fabrication material and installation
Garden sails come in a variety of colors, and there are also different shapes to choose from. The most common are triangular, rectangular and square. The material they are made of is polyester, so they do not absorb water or are not prone to staining. The fabric is also resilient and non-creasing. Often it is sewn with special bows, allowing it to be properly tensioned.
The choice of the sail should start with determining the number of mounting points, that is, the places to which you will attach the shade. The material should be about 30 cm smaller than the dimension between these points. Here we must fit additional mounting elements, such as carabiners, sail handles or turnbuckles for tension, but it is also worth taking into account the possible stretching of the fabric over time. The mounting height depends on our preferences. Usually it is about 2.5 meters.
A smaller size of the cover is easier to install, while a larger one will be exposed to wind gusts. So if the terrain is very windy, it is worth thinking about installing sliding sails or pergotend. Then we can roll up the fabric efficiently.
