By the river full of glamour - open interior of the house by the Narew River

14 of September '22

The arrangement in the house, located on the river by the Narew floodplain, was to connect directly with the outside environment. The author of the modern metamorphosis is Maja Dembowska.

The house, located right next to the river. The investors wanted to green up and soften this large and open space. How did they manage to do it?

Open space of the Dining Room and high living room

All spaces in the trim house are open. The attention is drawn to the large dining room for ten people. Green chairs on a metal frame blend with the wooden table. Right next to it you'll find a long room pot made of corten sheet metal, full of green flowers. A row of narrow windows illuminates the interior here.

In the living room, the main thing that catches the eye is the height, reaching very high. All life is centered around a corner sofa in white and a black coffee table. The most interesting effect is created by the lamps, hidden in black openwork lampshades. The floor is dominated by a gray mosaic carpet. This space is very open to light.

Bedrooms

The bedroom is primarily dominated by a delicate concrete character. Attention is drawn to the large purple headrest composed of convex squares. Above the bed an abstract painting was chosen. Interior lighting is minimized and placed on the ceiling. In the second bedroom, a simple white and an effect closer to the boho style was decided, accented primarily by a rattan headrest. On the wall you will find prints with copies of Claude Monet.

The third bedroom also contains boho elements, visible mainly in fabrics with floral motifs. A simple gray headrest and wallpaper on the wall define this space.

Irregular bathroom

Two things catch the eye in the bathroom: the irregular shape of the mirrors evoking the cells and the wallpaper on the wall based on an engraving of a plant. This is combined with simple functional wooden cabinetry and gray tiles.
