Low-budget interior of Wroclaw apartment I PdD

Theapartment in Wrocław's Maślice neighborhood has a small but perfectly designed space. It's just 39^{m2 of}space, which, despite its low budget, is resident-friendly and looks extremely aesthetically pleasing and modern. This optimal compromise is due to the design studio MAiA architekci.

Flexible space

The interior is to serve a family of three, so the most important thing here was the proper use of every square meter. Thus, the design premise became the creation of a flexible space that works well for multiple functions at the same time. The architects also note that they were keen to maintain the impression of lightness and spaciousness of the apartment.

Daily zone

In the living zone, the living room was combined with an open kitchen. This was quite a challenge, as the area is less than 20^m2. At the same time, the investors wanted to obtain an elegant interior, but also definitely devoid of eye-popping luxury. Thus, we will find here solutions that introduce a breath of freshness, achieved with minimal means.

Theimpression of modernity, bold and subtle at the same time, is made by the color composition of the white-brown kitchen cabinets juxtaposed with the mint shade of the cabinets. This aesthetic juxtaposition of color spots, as well as the smoothness of the cabinet fronts, affect the impression of neatness of the entire room. Also the handles are selected and placed in such a way as not to disturb the overall composition.

The kitchen cabinets are dominated by dark wood, juxtaposed with a marble countertop and a wall surface covered with the same material. Such a neighborhood is not obvious, yet it works perfectly here, adding elegance to the kitchen area.

Referring to the dark color scheme, a small dining room was created, placing a round table nearby and situating a lamp with anindustrial character above it, which reflects the emitted light in an intriguing round mirror.

Thelounge area is clearly dominated by light colors. A comfortable sofa in a creamy shade and a white wall become the background for the ceiling lamps, a shelf and furniture on thin, light legs outlined only with straight lines.

The arrangement of this room is emphasized by the floor of a noble, dark shade of wood and a spacious window, letting in not only plenty of light, but also a view of the beautiful garden and natural greenery that surrounds the building.

Compact bathroom and small hallway

The bathroom is alsocompactly organized. Here, cool yet artful marble patterns prevail, which are optically warmed by the wooden facade of the cabinets. A washer-dryer is hidden behind the front. A bathtub combined with a shower is sure to be a solution that satisfies every member of the family. A number of functions have been reconciled in this small space, giving the impression of a spacious room.

The hallway was also designed in light tones, and for optical balance it was broken with an unusual black ceiling. The carpentry of this part, was made to measure. This space is visually enlarged by high, built-in mirrors in the cabinets.
