The house near the city is an oasis for a family of four. The modern block with large glazing invites the surrounding forest inside, allowing the interiors to draw inspiration from nature. The interior was designed by architects from Miśkiewicz Design studio.
A space with a view
The first floor features a living room connected to the dining room and kitchen, a bathroom and a study. The living area is as high as two floors, and thanks to huge glazing, it is filled with daylight and surrounding nature. Attention is drawn to the white and black checkerboard on the floor and the glass doors with black muntins.

Inspired by nature
The surrounding nature was the inspiration for the color of the sofas in the lounge area. The dark, faded green refers to the forest outside the window, bringing coziness and softness into the house with the help of velour upholstery. A tall bookcase is both an ornament and a practical place to store documents. It is connected with an openwork wall made of lamellas. It separates the lounge area from the stairs and the entrance. A characteristic element of the living room are the delicate lamps suspended above the sofas. Their wire construction blends perfectly with the view outside the window.

Meeting place
The owners' passion is cooking, so one of their priorities was to have a large kitchen with an elegant dark-colored island. The wooden fronts of the kitchen cabinets, refer to the color of the floor. Combined with black stone countertops, they create an elegant kitchen space with a living room feel. When the owners receive guests, the island becomes a Swedish table filled with tasty snacks. A large refrigerator and wine cooler were also important features.

Dining room with original lamps
A dining table was placed by the terrace door. Its interesting design can accommodate as many as eight people. Next to it comfortable upholstered seats have been set. Above the table are glass lamp shades, which resemble soap bubbles. Thanks to their transparency, they do not obstruct the forest views outside the windows.
