Weronika Budzichowska of To Be Design studio carried out a metamorphosis of a two-story apartment. The investors, a married couple with two growing children, decided to completely change not only the decor, but also the functional layout.
Decorative terrazzo
The interior of the first bathroom is distinguished by an intriguing combination of natural materials and distinctive patterns. A simple walk-in shower was varied with vertical green tiles with a soft sheen. These tiles introduce an interesting texture to the arrangement and subtly allude to nature. In the lower part of the walls and on the floor, expressive terrazzo tiles were used. The bold geometric pattern consists of large stone fragments embedded in a gray base, which creates a dynamic mosaic effect. Introducing this motif into the bathroom not only adds to its expressiveness, but also breaks the smooth surfaces and minimalist lines of the rest of the furnishings.

Arrangement balance
Contrasting white ceramics and the cabinet under the sink perfectly balance the strong accents, adding lightness to the space. Wooden cabinetry also plays an important role here, warming up the interior and balancing the cool tones of the tiles. The wood works well with the terrazzo, creating a nice balance between raw materials and coziness. The whole creates a warm yet dynamic composition, combining nature, modernity and bold patterns into a cohesive aesthetic.

Minimalist elegance
The second bathroom is dominated by large-format tiles imitating white marble with gray veining. The bathroom furniture is made of light wood, which warms up the cool finishes and adds coziness. The hanging cabinet under the sink, equipped with black handles, introduces contrast and emphasizes the modern line of the design. Above it is a large mirror, which optically enlarges the space. The architect decided on an interesting arrangement, placing lighting on the surface of the mirror. Minimalist lamps in the form of spheres in gold frames elegantly blend with the rest of the interior.

Clever organization
The space has been functionally organized with practical shelves for towels and other accessories. Even more storage space is provided by a capacious enclosure over the toilet. The designer has also placed open shelves in it, which can be used to display cosmetics or decorations. At the same time, the simple form of the furniture does not disturb the minimalist aesthetic.
