In recent days we have been experiencing a real attack of winter in Poland. Heavy snowfall has forced us to clear the snow. However, doing it manually takes a lot of time and is tiring. The solution to this problem is a snowblower.

How does a snowblower work?
Snowblowers quickly remove snow from parking lots, driveways, sidewalks and yards. The principle of their operation is simple. The machines scrape up a layer of snow and then throw it aside in the form of shredded fluff. In combustion machines, metal auger feeders crush the beaten snow fragments and convey them through a chimney in the direction of our choice. The snow, ground by the auger rotor, is ejected over a large distance, e.g. 15 meters, through an adjustable chimney. Thanks to this, even on large areas we can move the snow to one selected place, from which it will be easier for us to get rid of it later.

Combustible, electric, or battery-powered?
The answer to this question depends on the area we need to clear snow. For larger spaces, a diesel machine will work well. It is best to choose a two-stage model. These snowblowers are characterized by greater power. They can easily cope even with clumped and hard snow. They are also more efficient.

Electric and cordlesssnowblowers are machines ideal for small gardens. They were created for clearing snow from the driveway or sidewalks around the house. They have less power, but they are also several times cheaper than their diesel counterparts. The machines can be powered by electricity from a socket or a battery. They make no noise, emit no exhaust fumes and are great for quick special tasks in the garden.
