The special time of Christmas is getting closer and closer. Many homes already have Christmas trees and other decorations. However, Christmas decoration does not have to be limited to classic elements only. Take a look at our suggestions for unconventional Christmas arrangements.

Abandon the scheme
Typically, we use white, red, green and additions of gold and silver in Christmas decorations. However, many of us prefer a more subdued and natural color scheme. So it's worth going beyond the usual framework and, for example, decorate this year's Christmas table in a neutral palette of beiges and browns. Gold and shiny elements will make the arrangement more festive, however, we will not be forced to create a decoration that does not harmonize with the rest of the decor.

A gift in a Christmas...shoe?
Everyone is familiar with the tradition of hanging socks on the mantelpiece. This decoration has already permanently entered the canon of Christmas symbols. However, this does not mean that we can only hide gifts in a sock or under the Christmas tree. As you can see, even an elegant shoe can become an inspiration for a Christmas arrangement. Another interesting solution are references to the world of animals. Deer and bears are a regular part of Christmas. However, a stylish wooden decoration in the shape of a duck will also become a beautiful decorative element.

An alternative to the Christmas tree
Don't have room for a tree? Or maybe you want to try something new? A traditional Christmas tree is not the only option. In smaller rooms you can put decorative vases filled with a few branches. Such a solution is more subtle. In addition, you can expose interesting ceramics this way. In the kitchen, on the other hand, you can build on what is already there. A great example is the Slot board decoration below. A practical gadget that helps with storage has become at the same time a holiday moodboard and an unusual decoration.

Light up the space
Christmas tree lights are an absolute classic. We can also find lights on wreaths. You can also create a tree shape from a chain of lights. On such a structure you can place other decorations such as baubles and Christmas greeting cards.
