Tatevik Caturova and Ewa Franiak of Flow Interiors studio have designed an apartment in the luxury Okrzei estate in Sopot. The architects created a timeless space in the modern classic style.
A seaside oasis
The apartment, located just 400 meters from the beach, has become a second home for a quiet couple. Earthy colors and natural raw materials reign supreme.
- From the fashion yard we translated, the recently so popular quiet luxury style - discreet luxury, which instead of blindly following trends relies on exquisite, well-tailored materials. Following this trend, we tailored this interior, like a tailor, to size, the designers say.

Aesthetic storage
The cabinet has a shade of delicate satin sage. Its rectangular shape not only fits perfectly into modern interiors, but also has a practical function. The centerpiece of the built-in is a comfortable seat upholstered in gray velvet fabric with decorative stitching. Just above it there is a large mirror and two lamps. Such a solution provides a comfortable place to get ready to leave the house. The recess, in which the seat was placed, was further emphasized with a black frame and inner walls of the same color. This creates a striking contrast with the rest of the built-in. The rest of the furniture serves as a functional place for storing outerwear, shoes and other necessary items.

Unique console
In the entrance area you will find another interesting piece of furniture. Standing by the wall, the console was built on contrast. Its top is made of emperador stone, while the support, which replaces traditional legs, is created from soft brown material. The whole is crowned with a gold base of the same shape as the top. Such a combination of different textures and materials creates an intriguing visual effect. It also makes the arrangement stand out from other interiors.

With attention to detail
The gold wall lamp is also a design touch. Suspended above the console, the lamp refers in shape to a vinyl record player. It was designed in tribute to bluesmen. In addition, all switches and sockets are from the same collection. Elegant frames finished with gold trim add elegance to the space.

- We really wanted this interior to be unconventional, to attract attention, but not to trump kitsch. Hence the original lamps, the combination of different textures and riffles, which at the time when this apartment was created were not yet on the top, as they are today. We came up with them and tested with a carpenter how to make them. Even the sockets and connectors we chose to emphasize the character of the arrangement," say the owners of Flow Interiors studio.
