Eclectic loft with graphic flair

07 of June '22

How to furnish a Loft with an eclectic character, where the personality of the occupant comes to the fore? It's worth asking yourself this question while looking at the arrangements by Patryk Hardziej and Ada Zielinska.

The arrangement was located in Gdansk, near the National Museum. The apartment with an area of almost one hundred and fifty square meters is located in a Gdansk tenement from the beginning of the twentieth century, as evidenced by architectural details and sharp-arched windows. The authors of this interior are Patryk Hardziej and Ada Zielińska - recognized Gdansk illustrators.

The living space consists of a living room, a separated studio, a kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a mezzanine. It was important to separate the workspace from the rest area.

living room

In the living room, the heart centers around an interesting coffee table - made from a piece of trunk. Around it you will find two leather sofas and a red chair. The arrangement is topped with old posters by artists such as Wojciech Zamecznik, Karol Sliwka, Yusaku Kamekura and Jerzy Treutler. You'll also find plenty of greenery around, as well as old audio equipment.

It is also here that a four-meter high bookcase is located, where we will find mainly books on design and graphics. A sliding ladder was attached to the bookcase. The walls were finished in white, except for the ceilings.

workspace

Behind the door was the graphic designers' workspace on the wall we can find the neon sign of the artists' studio - HardziejStudio. The heart of the space is a solid wood table, where one can work freely. As in the living room, it was decided to finish the walls with white while maintaining the natural character of the ceiling.

kitchen space

The kitchen space is primarily a contrast of wood and white. On the floor, a rhombus pattern consisting of gray and orange tiles was decided upon. The fronts of the furniture as well as the kitchen cabinets are mainly wood. On the walls you will find graphics and posters.

In the bathroom it is worth noting the floor tiled with hex mini tiles. The shower enclosure was kept in green. It correlates with the potted flowers.
