Can the Christmas table become a work of art? Or, however, is modesty and simplicity advisable here? It should be remembered that the decorated table becomes the showcase of our home. It is at it that we host our loved ones, celebrate the time we spend together, it is on it that we set the most delicious traditional dishes. So it is worth emphasizing the atmosphere of Easter and take care of an interesting composition of tableware. Certainly , elegance with a touch of finesse will be an interesting direction, which will allow us to maintain moderation, arranging the holiday decor.
Classically decorated tables
In the traditional style
If you opt for a traditional style, it is best to cover the table with a classic white tablecloth, which carries the symbolism of purity. Place the dishes in the center in elegant china, and spread green sprigs of boxwood and willow between them. The latter should obligatorily be there, as they are associated with a superstition that advises to taste the basil to prevent spring sore throats. Another version says that they ensure wealth and abundance.
It is worth finding a place for candles and flowers, placed, if only in a vase. And if the composition is too monotonous, you can enliven it with a colorful runner or napkins. Easter eggs and sprinkles will also add a splash of color. They should find their place here, because the egg is the most important symbol of this Christmas - it is a metaphor for life and joy. Young wheat, oats or cress have a similar meaning. The Easter chicken signifies rebirth, and the hare signifies vigor and fertility - so let them too, as porcelain or sugar figurines, appear on the traditional holiday table.

In modern arrangements, it is worth betting on an appropriately selected color scheme. Try to decide on two or three leading colors, so that the whole does not become too chaotic. Pastel shades will work perfectly here. Colors will also carry the right message. Yellows, greens and pinks signify rebirth, hope and joy. Whites and blues symbolize purity and health, purples fasting, and shades of red can bring to mind Christ's passion and victory.
As the main decoration in a minimalist spirit, we can arrange boxwood or hazel branches in the center of the table, between which we can insert decorative Easter eggs, clumps of moss or ribbons and colorful spring feathers. We can also place a glass vase with flowers or with twisted willow branches, on which we will hang decorative Easter eggs.

Floral compositions suspended from the ceiling are becoming increasingly fashionable. This artistic, finesse accent gives the impression of a spring cloud of flowers hanging above the table. Thanks to this impression, we no longer need to decorate the table itself with anything special.
Supporters of modern style will use a simple cut table setting, made of fine material, and put on it an original designer tableware, perhaps strongly geometric. On large shallow plates they will set bowls in a different color tone or break the color with patterned napkins. If you want to refer to the glamour style, it's a good idea to bet on gold, shiny accents, which will give a chic look to the whole.

If you have a table with a top made of real wood, in addition, it has an antique, rustic character, it is not worth covering it with a tablecloth. It will be enough to place a white table runner trimmed with traditional regional embroidery in the center, or use linen napkins. Tableware should be simple and elegant. On the table there may also be a clay pot, color-matched to the whole, with blooming spring flowers. There may also be wooden planks, wicker baskets or brass tall candlesticks.
