This original, memorable interior designed by Małgorzata Górska-Niwińska of MGN Architectural Studio infects with lively energy and optimism.
The owner of the presented apartment loves eye-catching decorative motifs, bright colors, unusual color combinations and a free mix of styles both in clothes and interiors. It was these tastes of the investor that guided the interior designer. And - as she says - she did it with great pleasure, because she rarely has the opportunity to prepare such an unusual project.

However, it did not focus solely on deviating from the cliché interior design. It also envisaged making necessary changes in the layout of the rooms, because originally there were two, located next to each other, premises. The architect suggested combining them into a single unit in the simplest and most sensible way - breaking a wide passage in the wall, behind which on both sides were living rooms with kitchen annexes. In one of them there was to be a kitchen combined with a dining room, while in the other a living room was planned. The function of the rest of the rooms, namely bedrooms and bathrooms, was not changed.

The design also takes care of the functionality of the apartment. This can be seen, for example, in the amount of storage space both in the kitchen and in the living room, hallway and bathrooms. Sufficient seating has also been provided, so that everyone will have their own corner where they can rest comfortably. The apartment also has a folding table suitable for a large family and visiting guests.
Kitchen
Spacious U-shaped built-ins plus a pantry hidden behind the wall provide the household with plenty of storage space and long work surfaces. However, it is not only functionality that draws attention in this kitchen. Above all, the combination of pink with dark blue, which is rarely seen in arrangements, as well as the fish scale patternon the fronts of the upper cabinets and gold plinths and knobs draws the eye. The accessories in the dining area of the room (chandelier, chair legs, mirror frame and decorative dishes) are also gold. This color, associated with splendor, contrasts with the simple forms of all furnishings, which brings a surprising effect.

Hallway
A black-and-white checkerboard of ceramic tiles was laid on the floor in the hallway connected to the kitchen-dining room. This is a very strong design element, which determines the character of this room. Gold details such as the mirror frame and the pedestals at the base of the poufs, on which both adults and children can sit comfortably, also appear here.

Living room
A bookcase was built on the wall with open shelves of different heights for books and decorative items. At the bottom, door-closed cabinets were provided - an ideal place for documents or less aesthetic items. The passage to the kitchen is finished with a mirror, the purpose of which is to camouflage too thick walls. Furniture with minimalist forms, and behind them rich stuccowork straight from the old salons, is another contrast, which has an invigorating effect on the interior design. The lamp, reminiscent of a lady's hat, looks beautiful even when turned off.

Bathroom
The sophisticated taste of the owner is well reflected in the design of the hosts' bathroom. It's finished with large-format porcelain stoneware tiles, which are deceptively reminiscent of beautifully veined marble, and herringbone-arranged narrow tiles in sea color, as well as colorful wallpaper with a jungle motif. It's a surprising but striking combination. Instead of a bathtub, they opted for a very spacious shower cubicle with tempered glass walls, which were made to measure.

Children's bathroom
The apartment also has a second bathroom used by the children. A double sink has been installed in it so that they can wash their hands or teeth at the same time. The bathtub with a screen adapts to the different tastes of the children. After all, one likes long baths, while the other prefers a refreshing shower. Storage has also been thought of, so that a supply of towels or toilet paper does not have to lie in plain sight. These things can be hidden in cabinets, built under the sink and above the suspended toilet and bidet. The walls in the bathroom were tiled in two shades of broken pink. Gold elements (faucets, mirror frame, lamps) add glamour and fashionable flair to the room. This color is the leitmotif of the arrangement of the entire apartment.
