Advantages of filter faucets
Giving up bottled water is an ecological choice. One plastic bottle takes more than 500 years to decompose, and as much as 7 liters of water are needed. By opting for a faucet with a filter, we take care of the environment. It is also a way to save money. Drinking an average of about 2 liters of water a day, we can save up to several hundred zlotys a year. We also save time. To buy bottled water, we have to go to the store. This involves the time we have to spend walking to it, standing in line, unpacking heavy packs and throwing empty bottles into a container. With a filter faucet, we have constant access to clean drinking water at our fingertips. A faucet with a filter also takes up much less space than water in bottles. Thanks to the special technology used in filter faucets, we will also get rid of the problem of limescale. An undoubted advantage of filter kitchen faucets is also aesthetics. Popular filter jugs, although effective, are not the decoration of our kitchen. Modern faucets, on the other hand, are characterized by interesting design and exclusive finish. We can find models in black, silver and copper and glossy or matte finishes. As a result, they will match any kitchen.

How it works.
The kit consists of a faucet, an activated carbon filter, its head and a timer to signal the need for replacement. Water purification systems mounted in the cabinet under the sink are also available. The faucets are equipped with two levers. One for filtered water and the other for regular water. This allows for effective separation of streams. A faucet with a water filtration option purifies ordinary tap water and removes any substances that can impair its taste, such as bacteria and viruses, plastic and scale microparticles, rust, heavy metals, organic pollutants and chlorine. Some models also have technology that makes them adapt to the water quality of the area. They come with 3 setting levels for hard, medium-hard and very hard water.

Your private source of sparkling water
On the market we can find faucets with the option of heating the water or replacing the carbon filter with a mineralizing or magnesium filter. The most interesting solution, however, are faucets with a water gassing function. They are equipped with a special button with a ring illuminated by LEDs, which allows intuitive selection of the level of water carbonation. By pressing one button, the LED will light up blue, and filtered, cooled and non-carbonated water will pour from the tap. Lightly carbonated water will be obtained by pressing two icons simultaneously. Then the LED will light up turquoise. The icon at the bottom will illuminate the LED in green, and carbonated water will flow from the tap.
