A suburban villa posed a challenge for Anna Blaszczyk of studio Artewizjon. How to deal with the concrete ceiling giving the interior a new character and improving acoustics at the same time? The realization combines loft elements with a cozy character.

Living area, i.e. living room, dining room and kitchen
The arrangement "Without Borders" is an interesting inspiration in the context of designing in a space dominated by concrete. In the space of the living area, next to large glazing, you will find a gray concrete ceiling. The owners were keen to soften the interior and avoid an overwhelming impression. They decided on a tier ceiling fixture made of black slats directly connected to the lighting.

The living room was dominated by a black corner sofa facing the TV wall. Interesting is the use of the space under the stairs, where uneven tiles were placed on the wall. Under the stairs you will find a graphite armchair, a black-framed wooden cabinet and a wicker chest. The use of concrete in the chimney setting is also interesting.

The dining room was located between the living room and the kitchen. Here it was decided to use a simple wooden table and chairs with intense blue upholstery. Two lamps on ropes were attached to the concrete ceiling, illuminating this space.

Thekitchen has been separated by a dark-graphite kitchen island, to which high chairs can be added if needed. On the floor, instead of parquet, you will find gray tiles. The fronts of the kitchen cabinets were made in the same color as the island. An additional element is the wooden framing of the fronts in the upper part, as well as interesting lamps in the shape of glass shades.

bedrooms
The solution of bedrooms for adult household members is also important. These are spaces solved in a very different way. In one, a wall composed of hexagonal tiles in white, black and yellow was decided. Next to the bed you will find stylish lamps in the shape of glass shades, placed on bedside tables.

The second bedroom, much larger, has been arranged in a delicately loft-like character with brick behind the headrest. Instead of free-standing lamps, it was decided to attach them to the brick wall.

bathrooms
Of the several bathrooms and toilets located in the house, the one next to the bedroom should be noted. White marble slabs have been laid on the floor. On the walls, meanwhile, you'll find soft black graphite and wood shades.

In the second restroom you will find a similar color scheme in the form of wood, white and graphite with a unique addition in the shape of a yellow wall and ficus beniaminus.

This arrangement also includes a child's room, which will be featured in the next article on the Home Products portal.
