1. Apartment over the roofs of Opole

The apartment, designed by architects Jakub Flisiak and Patrycja Sliż of Pracownia Architektury The Wall, is located on the top floor of a modern building in Opole. The interior has impressive glazing, which allows one to enjoy beautiful views. The base of the arrangement is custom-made oak parquet flooring laid in a traditional herringbone pattern. The owners prefer natural materials, so lots of wood and natural stone have been used throughout the interior. A note of extravagance is the bathtub located in the bedroom.

2. Meeting of modernity and tradition in a tenement house in Warsaw's Praga district

Aldona Banasiuk-Suchorzewska's project combines the style of a classic Parisian tenement house with a touch of modernity. The apartment is located in a building erected in 1912. Such a space could not lack art. There are sculptures by Lech Goździewski and photographs by Szymon Brodziak, as well as the best works of contemporary applied art, such as the Plopp stool designed by Oskar Zięta.

3. Interior finished only with natural materials

The project of the KANDO Architects studio is synonymous with luxury. In the interior you will find, among other things, a silk carpet woven by hand for 9 months and furniture fronts finished with real stone. Such solutions posed a real challenge. Special hinges imported from England were used in the kitchen. Only they were able to lift such heavy fronts. On the other hand, oak planks up to 8 meters long, with which the bedroom floor is covered, had to be hoisted upstairs with a crane.

4. Idyllic farmhouse of the youtuber couple

Jakub and David sold their apartment in Warsaw and built a resort by the sea. They have chosen the Smołdziński Forest, in the very buffer zone of the Słowiński National Park, between two large lakes Łebsko and Gardno. Three stylish houses were built in this picturesque area. They combine modernity with tradition and fit perfectly into the idyllic landscape.

5. The second life of centuries-old wood

The kitchen and dining room arrangement is the result of a collaboration between Gabriel Helegda and the Regalia Polska Manufaktura. The interior was decorated in the style of a mountain chalet. The kitchen cabinetry was created from aged, demolished pine. Meanwhile, on a carpet inspired by old Zakopane kilims, stood a large table with a top made from the face of a beam, which for the last several decades was part of the facade of an old cottage.
