Previously, the investors lived in a rented apartment. They felt so comfortable there that they wanted to meet its designer. Then they hired Malwina Morelewska to design their one-story house.
Elegant minimalism
The owners wanted the interiors to be simple but refined and enlivened with soft earth colors.
- Above all, the investors wanted functionality in minimalist but not austere forms. However, there were exceptions to this rule — points out the architect.
The main bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom. However, it is also accessible from the corridor. It was achieved by the changes in the development layout.

A bathtub surrounded by onyx
The niche was used to create a bathing area with a two-person bathtub. This part of the bathroom was highlighted with decorative tiles imitating onyx. The bold pattern on the tiles was softened with a subdued color scheme consisting of soft grays and beiges. It makes the pattern enrich the minimalist interior design and not clashing with it. It is also emphasized by the narrow window located on the wall covered with onyx tiles. Thanks to this, the narrow niche is illuminated, and the whole arrangement gains lightness.

Practical solutions
An interesting contrast was achieved by using a dark floor. However, its chocolate shade fits in with the natural tone of the room. Everything is complemented by white ceramics, simple lighting and gray and silver accessories.
It is worth noting the carefully thought-out storage area, which is the key to maintaining order in the bathroom.
- An overhead cabinet with a washbasin holds three very capacious drawers, while a built-in above the toilet holds shelves as deep as 60 cm for towels, bathrobes and cosmetics supplies — describes Malwina Morelewska.
The arrangement is complemented by gray accessories and white lighting.
