What kind of interiors do Poles dream about?

12 of January '23

We have already looked at how Poles live and how we arrange our space. Today we will analyze data from a report by VOX on what kind of interiors Poles would like to live in.

What is our style?

Most of us like warm, cozy interiors in muted colors such as whites, beiges and grays. We especially like such colors in combination with wooden decors and black details. However, this does not mean that we are afraid of color. We like to introduce bold, colorful accents. Green reigns in living rooms and bedrooms, and various shades of blue, yellow and pink in children's rooms. We take the most creative approach to arranging children's rooms. Even if we plan an interior for siblings, we make sure that each of the kids has a separate space.

First of all, practical

We value multifunctionality. Cabinetsoften also have a sleeping area for guests, and living rooms also serve as dining rooms and offices. We commonly place desks in bedrooms as well, so that they also serve as dressing tables. We also like to visually separate areas devoted to different activities. We prefer to hide items rather than display them. However, this doesn't mean that we don't want to express ourselves. Instead of reaching for ready-made furniture sets, we are more willing to experiment, composing products from different collections.

What drives us to metamorphosis?

Changes in the interior are prompted by a change in taste or life situation. Another reason is the need for renovation. In thecase of children's rooms, the motivation for amendments was the entry of a toddler into a new school period or the arrival of a sibling. On the other hand, the refreshment of the living room arrangement is usually prompted by the desire to better adapt the interior to the needs of the household members. Bedroom arrangement, on the other hand, is often postponed until later, when all the spaces of the living area are already decorated.
